Kevin Adams

OUR COMPANY AT A GLANCE

Cheryl qualified as a chartered accountant in 2002 after completing her training contract with Jennings Johnson in Sunderland.

Cheryl then joined Ernst & Young, a global 'big 4'  accountancy firm, as an audit executive where she stayed for 13 years ultimately progressing to the position of audit manager. Cheryl was responsible for overseeing a portfolio of up to 30 regional, national & international audit clients with turnovers ranging from c.£1m - £200m.  

In the summer of 2015 Cheryl left EY to join the family accountancy business.

Cheryl has significant experience of working with clients of all sizes and industries. As well as her experience in the preparation of management and annual accounts she will also be able to leverage her audit experience to offer insights into potential improvements in the controls and processes in your business.

After qualifying as a chartered management accountant Kevin held various retail accountancy positions in the North East before joining the Dickens Home Improvement Group as Financial Director in 1979.

In 1987 Kevin established KVC Management Consultancy and has enjoyed working with a variety of clients for more than 25 years since!

Kevin specialises in supporting smaller local clients and has significant experience of working with start-up companies providing advice and assistance during the company formation phase.

Kevin prides himself on his commitment to his clients and these excellent relationships have seen many clients staying with him for over 20 years and counting!
